Benjamin Rukwengye
Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Boundless Minds Uganda
Benjamin mentors young people through training and community service work, to develop their character, employability and entrepreneurial skill through Boundless Minds; an Education Leadership social enterprise where he doubles as the founder and CEO.
He is also the founding chairman of 40 Days Over 40 Smiles foundation, a youth-led charity that uses local philanthropy to support education for vulnerable children.
In the past, Benjamin served as Head of Recruitment at Teach For Uganda, recruiting graduates to serve as teacher leaders in rural primary schools; and was named among the 2017 Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurs.
Leadership is everything. The difference between ideas, organizations and countries that fail and those that serve the needs of their people is down to leadership.
Being part of YELP has enabled me to learn from some of the most brilliant social innovators in East Africa and continues to fuel my passion to be and do better as a leader and entrepreneur. It is an honor.
