Aaron Akampa

Aaron joined Stanbic Bank in June 2017 as an Analyst in the Finance department looking after Personal and Business Banking (PBB). In March 2018 having shown leadership potential, he was promoted to Manager, PBB Business Planning and Analysis and later that year joined Business Banking as the Head, Consumer Sector, looking after FMCG clients.

In March 2020, he agreed to drive the Ecosystems strategy for PBB and in July was also appointed as a Segment Manager for Tier 3.0 within Commercial Banking. He oversaw the embedding of ecosystems across the organization.

In April 2021, he was appointed as the Head Direct, Digital and E-commerce in the new BCC structure, tasked with leading Enterprise Banking as well as BCC’s digitization agenda.

Prior to joining Stanbic Bank, Aaron was the Chief Executive Officer of a tech start up, ADP technologies ltd, that majored in software development specifically in the education, waste management and payments space which he founded in 2013.

Outside work, he plays basketball, loves farming and spending time with friends and family.
