Angella Nakuya Kasekende
Program and Project Consultant, Youth Advocate
Angella Kasekende is an open minded, hardworking, focused and ambitious individual who is always willing to take on challenges to contribute to change. She holds an MSc in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of Sussex and a BA in Business and Management from the University of Portsmouth. Angella has previously worked in online banking services, finance and accounting, sales, Human Resource administration roles and event planning. One of her biggest achievements was when she worked with the French Embassy and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) on the Kampala Geopolitics Conference 2018 and, later continued to work with KAS as a Projects Assistant on the Youth4Policy project. Her passion is working with the youth and youth leaders in order to make it a better environment for the younger generation.
Currently she works at the International Law Institute- African Centre for Legal Excellence as a Programme Coordinator for the Georgetown Law Executive Education Programs in Africa.
My YELP experience has been amazing. It has been a vital point for me to actually find my voice and also manage to network with the fellows from different countries, different sectors and backgrounds. It has really helped to see what other fellows are doing and what they would want to do for their countries.
Now it is up to us to actually make change in our countries and also to build a network to make a difference in Africa.
