Elizabeth Mwambulukutu
East Africa Regional Communications Manager, WaterAid
Elizabeth Mwambulukutu is passionate about community development and art as a vehicle for social change.
She currently serves as the Regional Communications Manager for WaterAid in East Africa, an international NGO determined to accelerate progress towards Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 6) on clean water and sanitation for all. Previously, she worked with a USAID funded project in agriculture and the Investment Climate Facility for Africa (ICF).
In her creative space, she creates, curates, and collaborates on art and cultural explorations through Hapo Zamani za Kale and Elle Emmanuel Visual Tales, initiatives she founded to contribute towards shaping community narratives and foster cultural promotion.
Elizabeth is a Mandela Washington Fellow, Young and Emerging Leaders Project (YELP) fellow, and is a member of the African Women Leaders Network (AWLN). She’s a former Vice Curator for the Global Shapers Community in Arusha, an initiative of the World Economic Forum.
